Hospice is care that treat the person rather than the disease and focuses on quality of life. Our care surrounds the patient and family with a team consisting of professionals who not only address physical issues, but emotional and spiritual issues as well. Hospice Care is patient-centered because the needs of the patient and family are the focus of the hospice team. Hospice does not hasten death, it celebrates the time the patient has left while making sure they are comfortable with pain management and symptom relief. We want our patients to be able to maintain their daily activities as much as they can and spend quality time with family and friends.
Deer Valley Hospice Care pledge to be with you and your family through this physical, spiritual and emotional journey and provide you with the quality of care that will help you and your loved ones cherish the present moments and create new memories.
Our mission from day one has been to provide high quality, patient centered end of life care with compassion, dignity and respect.
